Born
and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Tom has resided in Concord,
California since 1977. His love of the outdoors shows in his
passion for Landscape Photography, capturing well known landscapes and
their surroundings, with a unique perspective, combining scene and
light to expose a special time and place. With a dream to share
this beauty with everyone, aware that some people will never personally
visit these places, his drive for excellence stays alive in his
work. Most of his travels, with his wife Betty, of over 43 years,
have been in the Western U.S. with some travel in the Eastern U.S. He has been shooting Color Landscape Photography in 35 mm format since 1980, using negative and positive film. More recently he has been using Digital SLR capture. With the advent of digitizing film, and digital capture, this has allowed him to maintain complete control of his images.
